Via its subsidiary EGL Grid AG, EGL owns and operates a 380/220-kV extra-high-voltage grid extending over a large part of Switzerland, with cross-border transmission lines to neighbouring countries. EGL Grid is also responsible for cooperation with Swissgrid, the national network operator.
