Allocation
A term taken from natural gas logistics, it describes the distribution of quantities of natural gas to delivery points with metering points. The quantities are allocated to the various owners based on the relevant transport and natural gas supply contracts. As natural gas from various sources converges at these delivery points, it is allocated on a purely mathematical basis according to the meter values and the nominations.
